Soulkyn Privacy and Account Safety

Privacy begins with what an account stores, who can see a character and what you choose to share. A private thread is not the same as a file kept only on your device. Consider visibility and service-side processing separately when deciding what belongs in a conversation.

Private visibility is not local-only storage

Soulkyn describes chats as private and private Kyns as visible only to their owner. Those descriptions do not establish end-to-end encryption or show that no information is processed by the service.

The Privacy Notice covers account information, conversations and usage data, including access by parties involved in providing the service. Leave passwords, payment information and recovery codes out of character fields and messages. Avoid unnecessary real-world identifiers even when the story itself is fictional.

Make a deliberate training-consent choice

Model-improvement and training consent is located in Account > User preferences. Check it on the identity holding the conversation. A preference selected on another account should not be assumed to cover the account currently in use.

Changing consent, removing a thread and closing an account have different effects. For a privacy-rights request, explain the specific outcome to support instead of assuming one setting performs every kind of deletion or restriction.

Fictional characters still have content boundaries

Soulkyn is restricted to adults aged 18 and over. Characters must meet adult-only identity and appearance requirements, including in private use. Neither a private visibility setting nor a paid subscription removes the content rules.

Choose original fictional characters and examine imported fields before sharing them. Generated dialogue is fiction, not verified professional advice, a real person's testimony or evidence that an event happened. A convincing conversational style does not change that distinction.

Reduce exposure through devices and support requests

Use a unique password for password-based access and protect any Google or Discord account used to sign in. Keep login links private, sign out on shared devices and inspect microphone permissions before starting voice features.

When reporting a concern, identify the relevant profile or tool and include only the excerpt needed to explain it. Remove unrelated names, conversation details and payment information. A useful report need not expose the rest of a private thread.

Questions and answers

What precautions matter when using Soulkyn?

Protect the login, read the privacy and content rules, and avoid unnecessary sensitive details in chat. Private visibility does not mean that the service processes no data. Treat character replies as generated fiction rather than verified advice.

How do I review consent for model improvement?

Open Account > User preferences to review model-improvement and training consent. Check the account holding the conversation; a preference selected on another account does not carry across automatically.

Who can view a character kept private?

A private Kyn is visible only to its owner. Publishing is a separate choice with lasting effects. Private visibility does not remove content rules or mean that operating the service involves no data processing.
