Make the account and request unambiguous
Sign in to establish which account you want closed. If the account controls are unavailable or you cannot regain access, contact support and explicitly request closure. Supply an account identifier and useful ownership information, not a password or recovery code.
State separately if you also want personal-data erasure. That request goes to the privacy Controller through support. Logging out, deleting a browser shortcut or ending a session does not close the account or exercise an erasure right.
Resolve renewal and keep payment records
Check whether a recurring subscription is active while you can still identify the purchasing account. Request cancellation through subscription management before the next rebilling date and retain its confirmation.
Save transaction references needed for an unresolved charge. Do not rely on a closure request to dispute a payment: cancellation stops renewal, while a refund request addresses money already charged. One does not automatically complete the other or reimburse earlier payments.

Under the character-creation rules, a creator's publication decision is permanent. Public Kyns pass to @soulkyn when the creator account closes, allowing other people's existing interactions with those characters to continue.
Account deletion is therefore not a way to undo publication. Consider that distinction before making a character public. A complaint about prohibited content or a person's likeness is a separate removal process, not the ordinary result of closing the creator's account.
Ask what remains and on what basis
The Privacy Notice describes usual retention of six years after closure, with periods subject to legal or business requirements. It also recognizes erasure requests and applicable exceptions. Closure alone is not a promise that every stored record disappears immediately.
The notice aims to respond to legitimate privacy requests within one month, allowing extensions for complex cases. Keep your request and the reply so the stated outcome, outstanding questions and any retention explanation remain clear.

What should an account-closure request include?
Identify the account, handle recurring billing separately and explicitly request closure through the available account controls or support. If erasure is also your goal, say so in a separate privacy request rather than assuming closure covers it.
Do published characters disappear with their creator's account?
No. The character rules provide for public Kyns to transfer to @soulkyn after the creator account is deleted. Closing the account does not reverse the creator's decision to publish.
Can account closure replace cancellation or a refund request?
Treat all three separately. Cancel recurring billing before rebilling and retain confirmation, request closure for the account, and raise any refund claim with its transaction details. A data-erasure request is distinct as well.
